Trouble is that all the SLR fosters are now full or have adopted up to the quota or other halves will NOT ALLOW THEM!

Little Lottie is here with me and Daisy, Comet and Alice. She's had some crazy chasing round the garden with Alice. It's fun to watch them... they start out with Alice chasing Lottie then disappear round the side of the house and reappear with Lottie chasing Alice. She's banged her leg on a large flower pot and yelped and yelped like a baby then hopped off and started chasing again. She's a really sweet-natured little girl. Very respectful of Daisy, very playful and although somewhat bewildered she's settling well. She hasn't ventured onto any of the beds yet and just wants to lie at my feet, but she'll soon settle and my 3 are being very good with her. She's around 23 to the shoulder and her knees suggest she will grow some more, but as you can see from the photo, she is very puppyish. She has some rough coat in her and has the cutest little whiskers under her chin and crazy floppy ears. She's adorable and is going to make someone a very loving, affectionate companion. It's hard to get photos of her as she doesn't keep still long enough, but here's one of her when I first introduced her to the garden. More photos to follow soon...

Christine - I am filled with admiration for you fostering this pup. I feel like a lightweight with just my Zephyr plus foster Pepsi. Sounds like your three are welcoming Lottie and will be good mentors for her (Zephyr send big butch hugs to Comet on being even more outnumbered).

Well done Christine, so glad you came forward as I was starting to cave in . You will find that at home 4 are no more trouble than 3, but out on walks, that's when it gets tricky, picking up pooh and negotiating gates and stiles, so good luck and well done . Lottie looks gorgeous

Everything good last night with lots of cuddling. Lottie likes to lie along the back of the sofa so when she wasn't snuggling up to me and kissing me she was a warm wrap for my neck! I have lots of beds scattered around the house, including a number on the landing outside my bedroom, but she hasn't yet worked out that she can use them so I was wondering what she would do when I went to bed. She cried outside the bedroom for about 10 minutes, as expected, but then settled. She woke again in the middle of the night and I could hear her wandering around. She did some wonderful howling, but again, only for about 10 minutes and she's still asleep now. We had a little accident in the kitchen (a little pee) but it was by the back door so she obviously was trying to get out. I don't think she's quite worked out that when I let her out into the garden it's her opportunity to pee ... she's still very much intent on exploring the new space rather than relieving herself, but she'll soon learn. This little girl is the cuddliest thing ever. I thought my three were cuddly but Lottie is even more so. She loves snuggling up to you and gives you lots of kisses and very gentle puppy mouthing. She is such a happy little thing, always smiling and wriggling... she's a joy to be with. She's quite attentive to sounds so it will be interesting to see how alert she is when we go for our walk later this morning. I managed to get some photos of her when she was lying still. Who could resist this gorgeous little girl... She does a good roach ... and has big paws ... she likes lying across the back of the sofa ... and here she is sleeping peacefully after a bewildering day for this lovely little girl

Lovely photos of a gorgeous girl.
I'm sure her forever sofa can't be far away.
Well done for taking her in.
