What a delightful little pup! Love the pic of both dogs lining up by the high-chair...my MILs dogs used to do that when my kids were tiny.

Nova is such a sweet girl. She wags for all visitors and has even won over the 'non-dog' people with her quiet gentle way! She loves a snuggle when she is sleepy. She follows Falco or me around the house and will sleep anywhere. She can JUMP when she wants to. I was changing the baby on our bed which is 3.5 ft high and suddenly there she was sat next to Hugo! We took her out on a walk, she has a harness and walks fine with it, does pull a little but as she is tiny even my 4 year old could mange her. She loved the walk and was desperate to do zoomies with Falco. It will be a real treat for someone to see her off the lead and zipping around the countryside one day. Out in the garden she runs and prances like a deer, so funny to watch. She will bark in answer to other dogs in the neighbourhood that are woofing.. She will be a delightful companion. The kind you can take anywhere!

Nova, continues to impress. we are trying to feed her up a bit, she looks a little on the thin side.
She barks at other dogs when on the lead, a very exited, 'want to say hello' barking, but loud and terrier like. I think we will need to take her out into the village some more and get her used to dogs on leads perhaps reward her with sausages as we pass dogs etc.. Any other advice on how to help her overcome that type of reaction?

I am having trouble posting photos. If I choose any of the 're-size options' it flips the image. Now its says i have exceeded file size limit whatever option i choose. I am on my lap top,it did the same last night.

Hi Kim, If you lot into www.photobucket.com and join you can load photos from there to here. That's how we all get the bigger photos on. Jules (fabapocalypse) has put up a thread in chat about loading photos to the forum. But if you email me a few I will put them on for you. xx

Thanks for the photobucket tip. Here she is, as bright as a button. I took her to Scampers (big pet store) this morning hoping to bump in to some more dogs on leads. The first dog she saw she yapped out. Turned out it was a stuffed toy modelling a harness. She was definitely embarrassed. But she did get to meet an elderly french bulldog called FISH. She woofed when she saw her at a distance but was beautifully polite and friendly when Fish came to say hello, so she got lots of praise for that. I found her stood as bold as brass on the kitchen table yesterday licking up crumbs from the kids lunch. She didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with it. Hopefully she considers herself re-educated in appropriate table manners. She will do anything for food. This should make her relatively easy to train. Now she has been with us a little longer I have started calling her in from the garden by name and rewarding with a treat. She comes pretty fast.

Said goodbye to the lovely nova today, will miss her sweet face but I know she will be so happy with her new family. They promised to email jenny a photo when she is settled in, they are going to call her Emma. She will be made a fuss of for sure.
