I don't suppose you actually need to walk far! Just stand and let them play. I love seeing Charlie so happy, he is well matched with you guys and hounds

Hi all, We took the dogs to Devon a couple of weeks ago for the weekend, with some friends and their dog Rufus and I thought you might like to see a few photos of Charlie living it up on his holidays! Lots and lots of beach and country walks over the few days and they were suitably knackered... Surveying his Kingdom On the move They love each other really Charlie that's not a rabbit Jack trying to keep up Time to go home I think Job done!

Looks like a good holiday. I love the way Charlie's coat is changing with a long white overlay. Handsome boy.

Looks like all the woofers had a great time on the beach. Your ongoing updates are very much appreciated, so please do keep them coming. Also, I think there are some brilliantly composed shots there...there must be some calendar categories coming up to suit. 'On the move', 'Jack trying to keep up' and 'Time to go home' especially. Keep an eye on the calendar thread!

Thanks all - they had a brilliant time! I'm loving this year's calendar already, can't wait for Charlie's first appearance next month!! We went to a place called Little Comfort Farm in Braunton. It was our fourth time there and I'd highly recommend it, they're really dog friendly. The beaches were in Woolacombe & Putsborough and both stretch for miles.

Ooh Woolacombe - I remember going there as a child. Did you go to the little cove where all the unusual shells wash up? Can't remember it's name but it is beside the main Woolacombe beach.

Don't think we saw the cove, although we spent some time climbing over and looking at the rock formation you have to climb over to get to the cafe at the end of Putsborough beach!

Hi all, I'm sorry to report Charlie has had his first (minor) injury since he joined the pack last July He managed to jump sideways into a barbed wire fence when he was spooked by another dog on Sunday. ...cone of shame time for a couple of weeks until his 6 stitches come out - he's not a happy boy at the minute bless him but fear not, he's getting spoiled lots!
