Looks like Hugo is having loads of fun with Charlie. I think you should take Charlie out dressed as Dracula on Halloween night

Charlie seems to have become attached to us in just three weeks. Last evening, with Lorna and Hugo he stayed with Colin and Monty while we went out for a family meal with all the children and grandchildren. Colin reported that Charlie spent most of the evening howling! His next home will have to make a special fuss of him at first!
He is a super dog though, not too full on with other dogs, recalls well, sleeps through the night, walks well on the lead.......

This morning I took Charlie over to Southampton for a play date with Charlie (and Heather and Phil). It all seemed to be going well so I have left him there for a sleepover. Fingers crossed! I took some video of the two boys running around in the big field nearby. It was their Charlie's first run of the day, and his stride is longer, but our Charlie kept up well.
Pause for a breath didn't last long!
Then we met some local dogs their Charlie knows well
Watch this space!

What lovely vids of Charlie and Charlie racey-chasing and playing I'm no expert in dog body-language but that looked pretty perfect to me! Everything crossed here for a great sleepover

As long as Charlie SLR doesn't take exception to the slight intimidating face play, I did notice a nose cringe, but then the video was buffering for me. You can see SLR Charlie doesn't have the stamina of Charlie. But it will come. He has had a bout of the squits!

I do hope so. They couldn't leave each other alone at the Micheldever walk - and obviously want to interact and play. Great videos.

Fingers and paws crossed here too. As Philippa says, they got on so well at Micheldever. Hope it all works out.
