Ok so now mc has made the comment lol x last night Simon went on a special mission to do a homecheck for scoobs (he said he felt like it was for one of my children (I would hand them over easier)☺ I had already had a long chat with Lauren about scoob and she still wanted to meet him so that was a good start. the plan will be to meet him a few times to let him work his cheeky boy charm which won't take long, she has horses and plenty of land where he can run safely a beach down the road, a small 2 legged person and her family have female dogs so all the right boxes ticked. So I have everything crossed for him. I will be soooooooooooooo pleased for him im hopimg to maybe go amd spend half a day there with him so i can see how he is etc he will tell me if he thinks its right im sure he gets his point across quite well x

Still a way to go yet. He has to visit and see if it would fit. We have to get it right for him.

I know it's not a done deal by any stretch, but Lauren sounds as though she has lots to offer Scoobs. I shall be sending a steady stream of positive vibes for some magic to happen.....

Not sure if it's just me but tears welled up in my eyes whilst reading this beautiful article about Scooby, especially towards the end. Keeping absolutely everything crossed that Scoobs' heart won't be crying anymore for much longer and he will have his family he sooo longs for. Wishing you the very best of luck, Scoobs.

So scoobs well bless him his bum has healed beautifully so the cone is off once his hair grows back it won't be visible. This boy has been here now for 15 months I know him inside out and front to back he has been the most challenging dog i have had but also the most loving dog. When I had a migraine last week and was puking he was right by my side by the toilet bless him to check I was ok he's snuggled up to me on the recliner now head on my chest snoozing. He's been the most hooman loving dog i think I have met he just craves affection as poor fran saw today when she nipped in. One good think for him though is actually although I know he loves us all to death he actually forms a strong bond within about 48 hrs so I know he will be fine without us he will forget us pretty quickly when he eventually leaves us. ☺☺ he has come such a long way and it has been a long injury fuelled 15 months lol and plenty of hard work on both our parts lots of tears, sweat, heart attacks, he has tested the patience of a saint, !!! But you can't stay cross for long with him cause he looks right into you with such love you have to give in and cuddle up to him. He's a cheeky chap a lovable rough but he does touch you heart. When I left him at steves whilst I did the weekend course it was me that left him on the Fri and Sat night in tears at having to leave him as he looked at me with such longing and trying to drag the poor girl back to me, they did assure me he was fine when I had gone ☺ he does feel like one of my children bless him and he does have a heart of gold, and I know he can't help what has happened to him in his horrid past, and I have to hang on to that when he drives me insane as it's not really his fault at all the way he is, and in a different time in life he could have been such a different dog that hadn't had I'm to face what he obviously has in his past life. Onwards and upwards hopefully scoobs xx we are off for a day trip tomorrow hopefully the wind will drop before I get on the hover craft xxx I do love him really ☺(on a good day) ☺ lol xx
