Thanks for the tips/advice. The frustration is wanting to know why she is suddenly doing this when she has been doing so well. We have been sitting watching tv and up she gets, goes outside to do her stuff and pops back to where she had been. Yes, there has been a change in routine whilst we have a house guest and of course leaving her yesterday.
We had reverted back to regular trips out into the garden etc but she is a quick learner so hope she remembers fast. Bless her.

No accidents since we returned on Sunday.
Just back from a quick pop in and out to the vets costing me £41 for Suki's kennel cough pills so that coupled with replacing the chewed dog bed and the dog sitter on Sunday is making for an expensive little foster girlie.

Just butting in with my 'behaviourial' hat on. Peeing on beds is actually a submissive gesture and generally performed by bitches who are feeling vulnerable or insecure. It's also very common for bitches who have been spayed to lose some bladder control for a week or so afterwards, simply because of the physical trauma to their stomach, intestines and bladder! Their uterus is attached to their kidneys by two 'uterine horns' and these have to be cut during the spaying op! Add in the kennel cough and the poor little love really is having a hard time of it.

Oh bless you for taking the time to write. So appreciated. We did also wonder whether it all had something to do with her op, cough etc as I think we humans would feel the same. Very interesting about the submissive gesture. Suki and Alfie are very bonded and I wonder whether she feels left out but I would not have thought so as DeeDee and Suki spend all their time playing so if anyone was feeling left out it would be Alfie.
She really is the most adorable, loving, easiest girl. Earlier today she was in the hallway where it is coolest, got up, took herself out for a wee and came trotting back in.
She has been a bit bored today as they still can't have their walk around other dogs. Shoes were a firm favourite this pm.

Have been sitting doing endless paperwork. Made a coffee and thought ... It's jolly quiet.
DeeDee and Suki are never far away from one another.
Alfie flat out roaching on our bed with his head on the pillows, Suki roaching across her favourite place ... Feet section and DeeDee roaching on her bed on the floor.
Even when I went in to check there was no movement from any one of them.
They did all have great fun chasing round the garden and playing with a kong. Think the other kong has either been snaffled by the fox or buried somewhere.

Now that the dogs are clear of k cough we have been out enjoying some lovely walks.
Yesterday we visited the Cerne Abbas Giant for a very picturesque 6 mile odd walk. It was wonderful to see all three dogs enjoying the freedom of running around together and rolling in the grass (Suki partook in her favoured pastime of a little more than just grass rolling!). Brushed and checked for ticks upon return.
DeeDee was superb. She never ventures too far away. Wherever Suki is you are sure to find DeeDee. Not bothered by cows.
She does not like to be left. Have been gradually building up the time I pop into the garage leaving them alone.
Friday evening all three dogs and two humans took a bus ride over the ferry towards Swanage and walked back.

So glad the KC seems to have cleared, took mine ages to get rid of it.

Saw DeeDee the other day, walking with Alfie and Suki, and their Dad Paul.
All the dogs are well and happy, but Mum Nancy is currently on holiday visiting family in Kenya,
hence no updates!

Having met her I can vouch that she is one lovely little girl and very affectionate. She adores Nancy's Suki. Here are a couple of photos I have of her.

Back yesterday after having been away three and a half weeks.
Could not wait to get back to my babies who were missed greatly and what a fab welcome we received. Wonderful to see how brilliantly they all get on and how well Paul took care of them with lots of long walks early in the morning and late into the evening whilst it was cooler. Suki and DeeDee are always playing together and where one is you are quite sure to find the other. DeeDee reacts to Alfie in a totally different flirty way. A very happy little pack.
The two girls have lost a little weight since I have been away but we are pretty sure it is the heat along with the long walks.
A little hole dug courtesy of DeeDee on what masquerades as a lawn and one of my tatty sandals had a few chew marks.
Lovely to have a four legged treasure in her bed next to mine again. Listening to lions roar into the night and the hyrax screeching in a tree right by my room was very special but so too is having Miss Tart next to me.

Welcome home Nancy. Think I would rather have lurcher snuggles than listening to lions roaring - wouldn't sleep in case I ended up as supper !!!!! I have had a feeling for a while that Deedee would be a FF. She fits so nicely in your pack and she and Suki get on so well.

Thank you. Oh dear! I never thought I would get so very attached as my two two legged family say that I am hard hearted! The bond between the three is incredible, especially the two girls and the good morning and welcome from D this am beats any amount of £'s in the bank but ........ miss Fluffy Ears has visitors tomorrow. I am sure that she can either sense my great sadness or can understand telephone conversations as she weed on our bed last night. I did raise my voice with teenager Henry about the state of his bedroom. DeeDee is a sensitive girl who does not like shouting or noise. If we knew where we were going to live permanently instead of moving regularly there would be no hesitation whatsoever in keeping this very very special baby. I love her to bits and feel terribly guilty about what I am about to do to Suki and Alfie but Suki especially. Blubbing away as I type.
