An update on Millie received from Terry & Zoei today:Millie, (was Smudge), has settled in really quick with us and made herself at home, no problem with toilet facilities and she is fairly good off the lead ,although she does not respond to either name on recall but a quick whistle seems to do the trick every time. Its a bit strange its like she has been with us for ages. We have to tick her off off now and again, I think she has been neglected in the training department a bit, but nothing serious. We get the innocent brown eyed look but it won’t wash with us. With Jobi as a father figure I don’t think we will have any real problems- he has been great with her and won’t let her get away with anything Send our love to Jenny and keep the good work up, you do a fantastic job rehoming everyone.

Received from Zoie & Terry this evening:Millie has been at the vets all day having her op. She is feeling sorry for herself at the moment and is not talking to me, hopefully she will feel a bit better tomorrow .The vet gave her a thorough check up prior to the op and said she is in good health which is great news. I can not wait for her to be back to normal and on the park with me and Jobi again will keep you posted on her recovery.Bounce back to normal Millie, but please, not too bouncy too soon!!

An update received from Derbyshire today:
Sorry we have not been in touch for a while been quite busy with one thing and another.
Jobi and Millie are doing fine and getting along really well, in fact Millie is very protective towards Jobi which suprised us, and Jobi has found a new lease of life since she came to us. I cant believe the speed he runs at in the park, sometimes even outrunning Millie.
They really are pleasure to have around ,Millie can be a little minx at times but deep down she is very loving and likes a cuddle wishing you and Jenny a great xmas and new year.
Love Terry ,Zoie,Jobi and last but not least Millie xx

Further news & pics from Derbyshire of the exquisite Jobi, (how did I ever manage to let him slip through my fingers? ), & his lovely little sister Millie:Hi Barney and Jenny Thought you would like an update on our Jobi and Millie. They are both adorable especially our Jobi he is to die for. Millie has started to lead him astray like going into the brook on the park and getting up to mischief, but we love to see him happy. We took them both on the boat at the weekend and they loved it walking along the towpath and just being on the boat. Zoie is still attending the hospital and being well cared for, it is Jobi and Millie that is keeping her strong. We read your SLR thread most days and follow the progress on all the dogs. Barney do you have any car stickers for SLR ? Keep up the good work love Terry Zoie Jobi and Milliexx Lick Lick What I'd dearly love to know is how that lawn remains un-Lurchered!!

Ah, such lovely doglets. She was meant to go there ;D
And the lawn, probably next-door's garden. Either that or they're not real lurchers Barney ;D
