At least both are going to foster rescues with other dogs in the family. xxx I feel I have let them down now. Oi missus knock it off - you do a very difficult job & can only do your best & your best is far far better than others They're safe, warm & will be loved So a huge hug from me Well done Marty & Carole I agree Janine - he looks very like Tess

He's seems quite a dude1
Very well done to all those that took care of him. He didn't ask or deserve any of it. So. so sad for his former owner.

An update for the lovely Shaun. Must say he has adapted remarkably well to his new situation. Found the back door easily to pop outside. Ate his supper with the others and laid comfortably with Marty and Me on the sofa. He is such a delightful little chap and will be a gorgeous companion for anyone looking for a more senior dog. He measures 19 inches TTS, so a small package. Would love to have another dog for company as he seems to like that. There have been a couple of growls from my three on occasion but nothing serious and on the whole things are fairly settled. It will take a few days for them to accept another dog in their midst. Shaun loves a cuddle and his tummy rubbed. We heard him bark (softly) for the first time today when the postman came. We have had a couple of visitors today also and he has greeted them very friendly and they already adore him. Last night went well, out for last toilet trips then everyone into their beds. Not being sure how Shaun used to sleep, he seemed reluctant to stay in his bed or to venture into our bedroom but seemed OK to sleep for a while on the hall rug. Carol not happy with this (well you know how she worries!) so at 2am and 4am she got up to make sure all was well. At 4am he then decided to venture into our bedroom and proceeded to sit on the big bed with Leo, whilst Carol was making tea, he then decided to jump on our bed and spent the rest of the night sleeping in between Marty and Me. As he is small this was fine by us. We love him already he is a real sweetie and has a character all of his own. His forever sofa is out there and whoever takes this little chap on will have his total love. They have all just had supper and there is no food aggression from Shaun so he has been very well trained and will sit and down with ease. Can pull on the lead a little but that can be sorted and we think this is just his enthusiasm. Well time to get our supper now, some more info for you tomorrow.
