Barney and I popped in to see this girlie today. She so desperately wants some love. She clung to Barney and cuddled in. She isn't that big, about 25 at the shoulder. She is a lovely rich ginger brindle, and considering that she has been in kennels for a long while she is in fantastic condition. A credit to the love and dedication of the kennel staff. She looks more like 2-3 years old and she just loves people. God, she's lovely

Perhaps a link could be put here to her rescue site. It may help people find out abour her. She looks lovely. Lots of GS in there!

The problem with having a link is that she is in a mixed rescue. They worry about dogs being stolen.
We can pass on any details to the rescue to contact anyone interested. cheers. ;D

Shame she has to be an only dog- esp if she's cat friendly.
Yas, our current dog is part gsd and I wouldn't have minded another gsd lurcher.

Nutmeg is not cat friendly or small furries but wouldn't have to be the only dog. She just needs the right partner. Probably a quiet, male. She is a beautiful girl who has spent half of her life in kennels and deserves so much more. She won a prize at our dog show last Sunday for the prettiest bitch. ;D Ax

Met Nutmeg as she was having a run in the Paddock today. Fantastic dog with good recall despite the distractions of other dogs. Lurcher savy home would be great for her. Lovely girl. Sue

Lurcher savy home would be great for her. Lovely girl. She is indeed Sue - striking looks & a super nature. Hope someone seeking a lovely canine companion recognises her outstanding qualities & offers her a loving home soon.

Poor Nutmeg, yesterday she was chosen by a new Mummy, had her ID disc engraved etc, all ready to go. Lady said she would go to cashpoint and get money, back in 20 mins. Yes, you've guessed it, she never came back. Poor Nutmeg, let down again. What is it with people ? This girl is gorgeous, would make a loving companion and can live with other dogs, just no cats. She knows basic commands and is very loyal to her handler. A beautiful dog. Sadly, once again, still waiting. Ax

Nutmeg has found a wonderful forever home and has settled in brilliantly and is very much loved. Seems it was worth the wait for the lovely girl. Good luck gorgeous, hope you're never let down again. Ax
