I just cannot believe no one is interested in him, he is so lovely. Perhaps there is a very special home waiting for him, that's why it's taking so long. Just to underline what Jenny has said: we will not rehome any dog in our care unless it's absolutely right for them, however lovely a particular adoption offer may seem in other respects.
At the end of the day the individual dog's own best interests are paramount , & yes, regrettably in several instances some very good folks have been disappointed to be turned down & doubtless many more will be in the future.
It really is a matter of horses for courses, & we will not compromise on our criteria.

Tag had the loveliest of days today. He has been playing in the snow with the girlies, and playing so lovely. He is a wonderful boy who we all love very much and it is going to be so so hard to see him go. He has now been here for 7 wonderful weeks. Please, only apply if you have the most wonderful home, cos my heart will break, and I don't want to worry about him when he has gone. T.A.G. True And Gorgeous

Nice to see you and Michael, again, today, Jenny and to meet Jazz.
Lovely to see Tag again too and being such a good boy and playing so well.
As we came away we both said what a shame it didn't work out here, but there will be someone out there who is just right, it just might take a bit longer than normal to find them; I can understand why it's so hard though.

Poor little big Tag is having no luck at the mo. He was due to have his stitches removed under anaesthetic today, but when Anil examined him it was inflammed and looked infected, so back on A.B's and anti-inflammatories, plus as he was examinining him he snorted, and then snorted again. And a rasp. Yep... another dog down.. Tag has Kennel Cough too. Poor mite has really been through it in his little short life. So, another two weeks with the girlies. ;D

Poor Tag, he really is going through the wars at the moment. Give him lots of love and hugs from Bran and us.

Just read this, poor Tag. I hope he gets better and will lose his good looks! I have to say even I have a soft spot for him... I hope he finds his forever sofa soon

Fingers crossed Tag will have his stitches out tomorrow. They are finally healing, despite endless play with Megan and Sofi. He has developed a keen catch of the ball and likes to play footie. He picks the ball up without bursting it and carries it round the field. The kennel cough never developed past the rasping and snorting for just a couple of times. I will get anil to check that tomorrow. All the girlies seem okay. Fingers crossed. I must take some photos tomorrow as he has grown about an inch in size, about 27 at the shoulder now and his face is started to elongate; looking a lot like Oscar

How is little Tag doing is he recovering form his KC, I hope he is over the worst of it by now. Based on today's experience, the ABs have done their trick with Tag's kennel cough - he's back to his normal bouncy, affectionate self.
My ears received a thorough grooming from the lad, & the scratches on Mummy Chook's face bear testimony as to how much he loves her! ;D ;D ;D

He's now had all but one stitch removed which Michael is going to get out this evening. He shouldn't have any scar in the end. He's a poppet.

Sykes and I went to visit Jenny and Tag today... Tag is growing into the most beautiful dog; he has a lovely smiley soft expression and a silky coat you just want to nuzzle into. He's still a puppy, but VERY well behaved and has such a good nature (even under extreme provocation, i.e., Sykes!). He wants to please, wants to play and is a really gentle character. His behaviour today was never less than exemplary (wish I could say the same for my dog). Some photos: Smiley Tag Posing Tag Is this the sofa I'm allowed on? Chilling Tag (guest appearance from Miss Elly) Hello Barney! Big hugs
