Do you know if he's cat friendly. That might help with homing him.

No, sorry Lesley. He met two cats at the vets and just squatted down to nose at them. And one spat and clawed at him. He in return put his tail between his legs and darted into my lap!!! Stupid pup

We don't do lurchers on the leather sofas in our house, but once you turn your back, and with a headstrong Sofi in command, Tag will do anything he is NOT told to do. SOFI........

I took Tag out with me in the car without clipping his lead to the back today and he just sat in the tailgate area and didn't attempt to jump over. When we got home I opened up the tailgate and out he jumped. Me forgetting that he wasn't clipped in I proceeded to unload the car and my friend who was with me said "he isn't on a lead you know". I had forgotten that he was a newbie. Tag just trotted indoors alongside us. So off-lead very soon me thinks. He is so lovely, and such a baby cuddle monster. Everyone who has met him has just had to cuddle him as he is so soft and squidgie ;D

Tag had a lovely couple interested in him yesterday, but alas they were not able to commit more than part-time to him. I owe it to Tag to get him the best home that I can. He is a lovely young pup, bouncy and very loving. So, if you work please don't apply for Tag. Tag is such a good dog on the lead and travels well in the car, even when I have had to put him into the car soon after feeding him Poor mite. He is such a good boy indoors and at night comes on the bed for a cuddle and then when he is told "away to your bed" he immediately gets into bed til the morning, when I am confronted with a yucky french Tag loves playing with balls and toys, and resembles a cat when he plays. His lead walking is lovely. I prefer to take Tag and Elly out to the others any day. He is calming down with other dogs flying past, but I think he will get better when he is allowed off lead. Tag is off for his last vaccination tomorrow and his neutering scar to be checked.

Took Tag and Sofi to the vets today, Tag for his last vax and Sofi for her stitches out. We then went onto the Essex Way at North Weald and there were no dogs around. Sofi is still not allowed off the lead for a couple of days yet as the wound is in a place that is quite stretched, so........ Tag was let off.... Muzzled just in case he took off after bunnies, but what did he do, apart from goading Sofi to chase him, he put his nose to the floor and sniffed and followed trails in circles, but never left us. He then played with Sofi again who was not amused because she was on lead. She grabbed his muzzle and off it came..... oops... But Tag immediately calmed right down, having been trying to get the thing off for the last couple of minutes, and happily trotted along with us. He is a lovely faithful boy and I wish I had had my camera with me Just five minutes today, but when we get a muzzle that fits well he can go off lead. Got home and opened up the tailgate. Tag jumped out and ran to the front door. Obviously a home loving guy. We might try and get up early and go on the greyhound walk at Pishiobury with Tag tomorrow, just so he can meet lots of them! ;D I would love to see Tag rehomed with another dog, a bitch would be lovely. He and Megan have such fun playing. And this morning Sofi showed him how to dig frantically at the bed sheets to get to Michael's hand underneath. They were digging in tandem ;D Somewhere out there is the perfect home.

Tag sound a wonderful boy if I was in a position to re home another one I would have him like a shot, especially when you said he would be good with a bitch, I know Belle would love some company but with a move going on its not the right time. As much as I love Belle I do miss the naughtiness of a young dog about the place, my family say to me you must be a glutton for punishment, make the most of a nice calm dog. Happy home hunting little man.

Give her time Jean. Elly has become a born again pup. Once they feel safe they start to get cheeky, but only in front of their families ;D Isn't it funny, here I am trying to find a calming influence for the lad ;D

I'm like you Jean. I would love a playmate for little Alice. She loves playing with her toys and fetching a ball etc. but for her, nothing beats romping around with another dog but it wouldn't be fair on our older dog Frank. Tag looks great Jenny. I'm sure he will have a super home very quickly.
