Ohhh, what a gorgeous little boy! What a difference from the early photos, he looks so happy and relaxed. I wish I had space in my house for another.... perhaps if i rehomed the children......... I used to think I didn't have space for more than 1 dog... now I have 3 and it's actually fine. They just have to squash up more on the sofa!!! Jake is so cute. Someone needs this little man in their life!

Hello everyone, sorry it's been a while. Jake is doing so well, as you can see Dan has taken him out for a run with Timmy as his recall is so good around the house and garden, and he had a fantastic time! He loves meeting other dogs and people, although can get a bit excited and jump up at people, but as he's only about 19" to the shoulder, it's not too overwhelming! He loves having a good chew on Timmy and Fergus's old bones and he has a special blue tuggy toy that he and Timmy play with. Jake has improved on the lead and walks really nicely with Fergus, although he will pull if he sees another dog, or a cat. He rarely shows his nervous side, only flinching slightly if you go to stroke him if you are both standing. However when you go to sit on the sofa, he'll get up first and then snuggle in before anyone gets a chance, and he'll often fall asleep flat on his back with his head on our laps

I think we all have a problem viewing the videos as they say "private" on them. You need to change the setting on your photobucket to public.xx

Brilliant. Thank you so much Dan and Rachel. He is maturing into a much more confident doglet. I don't think he is going to reach the estimated 26" at the shoulder though!. But he is gorgeous. x

He's a real little mutt, isn't he? And I mean that as a compliment. Gorgeous little brindle lad.

It's great to see Jake so confident and running free, what a difference to the frightened little pup that was dumped in January.
Lovely looking little lurcher.

Jake was earmarked for a family who then decided not to take him on without meeting him. Their loss. So poor Jake is back up for rehoming.
