As you can see Jake and Timmy are getting on really well, and even Fergus is getting used to having a young 'un under his feet all the time! Jake has really settled, a completely different little chap from the nervous pup that arrived nearly a fortnight ago. He greets visitors when they come in, and parks himself next to them on the sofa for a fuss. Jake really likes his food, and Dan has started training him to sit at the moment. He is still using his puppy pads to do his business on, and will be using the garden once our fence is fixed next week, we don't think it'll take long to house train him, as he is picking so much up from Timmy and Fergus. Clever little fella!

Jake has been coming along leaps and bounds (quite literally often!) and is picking up the training really quickly. He is now house-trained and will sit when it's time for a treat. He loves meeting visitors to the house and doesn't show any nervous behaviour now. He loves snuggling up with the kids and Timmy, and can take up a surprisingly large amount of sofa space considering his size, although we're pretty sure he's grown quite a bit since he arrived, we don't think Jake is going to be a very big boy. Good things come in small packages

Hello and welcome to the forums linnash. Not sure you meant to just post the 'quote' of Jenny's post, but I can't see that you posted you own comment. Mind you,,, those photos need no more words.

He was going to be on reserve but the pending adopters are against neutering! So, we do not rehome to them. x Jake is still looking for that perfect home.

Gotta stand by the ethos of the rescue. Someone else's gain.

I find it really difficult watching this thread cos Jake is such a cutie. Age old thing 'if only'
