Update 24.07.14. Unbelievably, this baby, now around 9 months old has had three nearly adoptions. Each time the applicant has not been able to get to visit, has had family personal circumstances or has cancelled. This leaves poor Jake, who is now a stunning confident 9 months old pup still in foster. He is lovely, a lovely disposition and living with two male lurchers and three young children. We are looking for a home for Jake with another lurcher to run and play with, or the chance to meet twice daily with like minded dogs to run with. He would be very sad if he didn't get his off lead fun with his friends. This lad is gorgeous - not big at 22" to the shoulder, and full of love. ................................................................................................................... In today, will update in a bit when I return from transport runs. This lovely little lad, still very scared, but coming round is just on his way to Wiltshire. One of the two dumped in Essex. They haven't had much human contact in their life, probably penned up and the last of a litter. They are fearful but that will subside once they know they are not going to be hurt. Bathed, fed and lots of toys and treats sorted, they are on their way to their fosters homes this afternoon. This little man is headed to Wiltshire. Here with his little brother. They do stairs

Both gorgeous, but look at their frightened little faces. Exactly what I thought! However with TLC, some socialising and regular meals their fears will fade and they will become the happy, playful puppies they were meant to be.

Not a pip squeak whilst travelling, but very timid. He took a few minutes to get out of the puppy crate into Dan's car. Very cute, looking forward to seeing him come out of his frightened shell.

Huge thanks for today Jacqui and to Cath. Sorry I kept you waiting Cath, but with him being sick I had to sort the car out again, and my god, how much do little pups need daily?? Half a car load!

It's been busy here in Wiltshire, but in such a lovely way. Jake has been with us for three days, and he is doing really well. He is slowly coming out of his shell and showing us what a lovely little chap he is. He came to us on Saturday night as a bag of nerves, but within an hour he was settling onto the sofa with us to watch some telly. He is wary of us grown up humans, but he seems much more relaxed around the kids and will snuggle up to them as soon as they sit on the sofa. Fergus is rather unsure of Jake and is giving "leave me alone" signals which Jake is respecting, but Timmy has rather taken to him, letting him cuddle up and being completely unfazed by being followed around by this little pup wherever he goes. We have begun toilet training and walking with the lead, and whilst Jake seems a little puzzled by it all, he is taking his lead from the big dogs, so I don't think it'll be long before he starts to pick it all up
