She seems such a sweetie and I will be very jealous of whoever gives her a forever sofa. Jenny didn't have time to write anything this morning because she's off to the vets, but she wanted to report that lovely lovely girlie

Thanks Rosa. Well, she's back. Crying a little. Luckily I had a walk with Fred and Siouxzi and Angie this morning with the doglets whilst she was being operated on. They kept me out of trouble and then we found our way through Epping forest to the pub. The direct route this time, I might add Barney Lis from the vets rang at about 12.30 asking me to collect this little crying baby. Siouxzi came into the vets with me and we saw the x-rays. She has a slight bend towards the top of the radius where it has been pushed upwards and outwards. The radius is longer than the ulna which is a deformity of growth, nothing to do with any breaks. She is still guessed at being about 10/11 months and had a tiny uterus. Fred sat in the the back of the car with her on the way home and she was not best pleased with him, and grumped on nearly every bend. Lying in Mim's bed now and quite sleepy still, but the wound looks great. Anil is going to send off the x-rays to the vet college for a second opinion and a prognosis on her future with either an op or living with it. She doesn't have any more growing to do in his opinion, so there will be not much change in the structure of the leg now. So... we wait for the opinion and prognosis. Nina is waiting in the wings for fostering, and we have had a couple of home offers. No decisions in any way have been made yet. Barney and I need to find out costings, time scales and what is best for Poppy, health and homewise. This is Poppy after getting out of the car. Where am I

This was little Peg Leg pre-op. Last night in the garden deciding to do the wall of death round the trampoline. The leg doesn't stop her doing this ;D Edited to add - the one doing all the barking after her intial little bark was..... ELLY....

Little Poppy basking in the sunshine this morning on the back patio. Mr. Tag loves her. And a piccie, not very good as my batteries went, but look at the neat scar. Can you see it? Good vet isn't he. ;D

Met Poppy for the first time this morning, & my word she's a beauty in every respect.
I'm sure that Nina will find it very, very difficult to let the lovely little lass go - I know I would, (but then again my record as a failed fosterer speaks for itself! ). I believe that Jenny feels the same way too!

This dog is so well behaved that I keep forgetting that we have her. Tag, on the other hand, reminded all and sundry that he was here ;D

Little Poppy went over to John and Vivs today to meet Daisy and the Doggedasdoesit gang. Daisy is looking fantastic and greeted little poppet with such a wag and made her feel so welcome. Jack had a little play, and honey was curious about little Pop's wound, not that there is anything to see. We had a lovely time and went for a walk before coming home with arms full of goodies, and plum jam, just made ;D
