Scooby has now been a year in foster with Janine on the Isle of Wight. The training sessions have paid off. He still doesn't like dogs rushing up at him, but if a dog is not annoying him he is happy to walk alongside it. He had a large dog walk yesterday, and coped very well. There was an incident where one of the dogs crashed into him resulting in a small fracar, but it was soon dealt with, and to be fair to Scooby he did not look for it. He is such a loving dog, and a credit to the foster care that Janine and Ian have given him. Out there is someone who wants a friend, not big, who loves cuddles, loves his family, and who can introduce him carefully to other dogs on walks. Janine has been on-going in this training, and he is now on a loose lead on walks. He may always have to wear a muzzle out and about, unless we can fine him his ideal home with a very large garden, a loving mum and dad and a bitch for him to cuddle up to. This dog oozes love for his humans. We never know their complete histories, but Snoopy has clearly been subjected to attacks from male dogs, probably in the large holding kennels he came from as a pup. He is still a baby and Janine is turning him around.
WHERE ARE YOU MUM AND DAD - SCOOBY JUST WANTS A HOME.. LOVE... AND TO SHOW YOU HE IS WORTH IT...XXX

OK so a scooby recap from us aswell xx Scooby would love a home with:- Children to play with him A large garden or enclosed bit of land where he can run off some energy. A loving mum and dad who will give him the love and cuddles he craves. He makes a good hot water bottle and likes to get under the duvet when he comes in for morning cuddles. He can be left happily with toys and a chew or something. He will play with his toys in the garden on his own for ages but is happy if someone is willing to throw them for him. He is a perfect food stealer and has this down to a art so u have to keep eyes on him if is around as he will woof it down before u know it . He gives lovely kisses and snuggles. He loves all hoomans and children. He can open doors and jump stair gates so need to keep the door locked if it is a handle as he will follow u out. He is a really happy boy and his behaviour has got a lot better and he now no longer chases stationary cats, bikes, dogs as long as u keep up his training, every walk needs to be a training session to make sure he doesn't lapse. He will need a home with experience and won't be good as a first dog. I hope someone with give him a chance as he is a very loving loyal boy with people and doesn't seem to have issues with batches x

Think Scooby has outdone Floppy as the longest foster! Keep going with the training Scoobs, you are a gorgeous hound and someone has a forever sofa for you. They just haven't found you yet. X

Can peeps please make him your facebook item for today. I have asked Black Beauties if they can do a piece on him as dog of the month in need. All he wants is a home and love. Janine and family love him to bits but Janine loves fostering. And with Scoobs she cannot bring any males into the house or any bolshy bitches. All Scoobs wants is love and some freedom to play. You can see from his beach walks that he loves to be out and about. I have walked with him and my four bitches, and no problems at all. Somewhere in his past he has been attacked by a male. When he entered the Rescue he was covered in nicks and bites. He needs security and someone to Trust like he does Janine. ARE YOU HIS SOMEONE?
