Please meet 3 year old Bonnie, who came to us via the same saintly lady who rescued my Annie.
She travelled over on last night's Irish ferry, & is a real sweetheart, with a very waggy tail & a belly that just yearns to be rubbed.
Bonnie is neutered & vaccinated; she has been wormed, will be flea treated today, & have a checkup at the vets tomorrow, when she will also be microchipped.

I have just got back from the school run/pish run and popped in to see the lovely Bonnie. She is an absolute cuddle monster. She doesn't look or act like she has travelled for 12 hours. Her temperament is to die for and she leans for England I wish we had a love heart emotion or angel emotion here because that's just what she is. ;D Winnie seems to have taken to her and they were playing so lovely. So.... someone could make two dogs very happy if they continue in the same vein as they have started. It was so lovely watching the affection between them. Poor Bonnie's foster mum in Ireland was so worried about her travelling and the trauma of it all. Little did she know that this girlie would ride it easily and NOT STOPPING WAGGING!! And licking for Ireland. She's gorgeous. I wish I could foster the rough-coats. You're spot on B. WOW

Did I say she's very affectionate? I don't think I've ever come across a hound with a more perfect Lurcher lean.
I do recall saying that she likes her belly rubbed!
From what I've seen thus far, Bonnie would really not be suited to being an only dog - she needs to go to a home with another canine for company - she's been getting on really well with my crew, & she's acquired the mantle of Winnie's latest playmate.

blimey you've got a housefull at the moment! Not really Anna - she only takes me back up to five again, & if I'm very clever & very careful, that still gives me a chance to park my lower posterior on part of the furniture!
Yup, & she's not put a paw out of place since we arrived here at about 6.45 a.m.

She is a stunner I bet you will inundated with offers of homes for her like you were with little Maisie, for some (unknown) reason I think people prefer the rough coated lurcher's. In fact I think most people think the smooth coated lurcher's are just small greyhounds. They are all lovely hounds rough, or smooth coat.

I let Bonnie choose where she wanted to spend the night, & she decided on the crate in the living room, where she slept right through, & stayed there to greet me with a waggy tail when I came downstairs at 6.00 a.m.
This is her yesterday, lying in the office doorway keeping an eye open for more belly-rubbing opportunities:
We're off to the vets this morning for Bonnie's initial checkup & for her to be microchipped.
