Sounds like DozeyDozer would make a lovely easy addition to a family.....hope someone recognises that soon ..... especially as he clearly has a terrible time at the Hunter House

Well Dozer is back home with us again - we did miss him. He is so unbelievably chilled and clearly not affected by the awful time he obviously had at Kates!!! It's like we never left him - Dougie is always so clingy when we get back and makes me feel really guilty . We went for a long walk this morning. Dozer and Barney had a lovely time. Now they're doing what they do best and are crashed out. Like Kate says he's the perfect, well balanced dog. I really can't find fault with him and worry that people won't believe me as he sounds too good to be true ..... so it's great for Kate to second that

That is a shame but you are right Kate and Nikki finding the perfect home for Dozer is top priority. Hope the family that was interested will fall in love with another SLR hound and hopefully soon Dozer will find his forever home soon

I am the big bad wolf here. As lovely as the home offer is, we have to get it right for Dozer, and I can't see him without another dog around, and Nikki agrees with me.

You are NOT big bad wolf, you are MUMMYCHOOK and you always put a rescue dog's interest, wellbeing and needs first and that is why you are very loved xxx

Shame this one didn't work out but IT HAS TO BE RIGHT! No point in homing a dog where it won't be happy. Better luck next time Dozer, and best of luck to the family in finding the right dog for them.
