Got Honey cuddles today on the walk at Hylands! What a beautiful, gentle dog! Someone's going to be very lucky to have her.

Just caught up with the news about Honey's eye - very sad but I doubt it detracts much from the great beauty Feel better soon pretty lady. xxx

So which one would you think it is. She's been hard at work for the Rescue, at the Meet and Greet Honey came into season and so her x-rays have had to be put on hold until she can be neutered at the same time, around 8 weeks time. She continues to be a lovely girlie and a foster you don't know you have.

I hadn't seen the latest photos until now.
What wonderful surgery on that eye, you really wouldn't realise if you didn't know!

Thanks for asking. She still has a few weeks to go before we can have the leg x-rayed again whilst she is being neutered. We may well go for the plate coming out. She has had a couple of off lead trots and she's favouring it when she does. But she is lovely.

Two weeks ago Honey's leg was x-rayed and the plate taken out. She has a new lease of life. She no longer yelps in pain when she bumps it and she can jump down from the sofa without any fear of her damaging herself. We can finally stop walking on eggshells with her. She still has to have lead walks for the next 4/5 weeks, and as Glen said, she is accident prone, so we have to be careful with her only having peripheral vision when she does go off lead. She was signed off from the Vet Hospital on Monday. ;D

It will be a few weeks yet, and with our hearts in our mouths as she has peripheral vision.
