.........................I'm just wondering where he'll choose to sleep tonight? I don't know where he started off - all the hounds can choose for themselves where to sleep, & he wasn't in my bedroom when I switched off the reading lamp, but at 5.30 a.m. he was sleeping peacefully on my bed.

Shaun on this morning's walk:
Shaun's no trouble on the lead, & is generally very well behaved all round.
He loves everyone he meets, be they people or dogs, & he really is a happy little bunny.
Judging by his appetite, bulking him up won't be a problem! ;D

Shaun's back in the home-kennel, as right as ninepence.
The vets phoned to ask if I could pick him up earlier than planned, as he was o.k. following the op, but creating merry hell because he didn't like being crated in the recovery room, (I could hear the noise he was making over the phone ).
He wasn't at all woozy, & I took him for a little excursion up the lane behind the surgery, where he walked fine, although a tad bow-legged at the rear!
This is him a few minutes ago, looking daggers at his Uncle Barney for subjecting him to such indignity. ;D :

Shaun this morning:
The boy's shown no reaction to yesterday's vet experience, & is completely back to his normal happy waggy-tailed self.

I popped in this morning, and even saw Murph playing with him, or was he just trying to get him off HIS sofa ;D

We went over to Barney's with Logan today. A bit overcrowded as there were his 3, 2 fosters, 2 visitors, then Logan arrived and then Michelle & Matt with JB. It took some sorting out but once I'd worked out which was Annie and which Paddy and met Bridie, we looked at Shaun and he is a cute little lad, about the size of Winnie, but perhaps a shade smaller.
The 5 of us took the 9 hounds out for a walk. Barney had 4 dogs at a time, but always Winnie and Shaun, and all 4 behaved very well.

During the time Mo & Jenny were here, dogs only outnumbered humans, (including baby Jack, who was a happy little chap throughout what must have been a bewildering experience for him!), by 9 to 8. The home-kennel has a somewhat empty feel about it now, with just five hounds & me occupying it! ;D ;D ;D
Thanks again for all your help yesterday Mr & Mrs DADI, & for behaving as well as the dogs did!
Young Shaun appeared to enjoy the experience of so much company, & I was proud of the way he handled himself.
