Logan has left the building!
He has gone to his forever home in Dorset with new Mum Michelle, Dad Matt, their adorable baby son Jack, & JB, their lovely 2 year old tripod Lurcher.
Thank you John & Viv for, (as usual!), doing such a grand job of fostering an SLR hound.
Be happy Logan - we know that you'll be very much loved.
May green be the grass you walk on, may blue be the skies above you, May pure be the joys that surround you, may true be the hearts that love you. May God grant you many years to live, for sure He must be knowing. The earth has angels all too few, and heaven is overflowing.

So pleased for Logan - at last he's got his own sofa! Be lucky big lad, and hope your new family spoil you. Michelle and Matt, you have one lovely hound there! Can't wait for updates - Logan has been a sort of favourite.

Hi All, After a long (and smelly, as both were very windy) journey back to sunny Dorset we settled Jack down and spent time with the boys. They were both very tired but very loving towards us and each other. They both slept in the room with us and after a bit of walking around and sniffing, Logan settled to sleep next to a snoring James Brown!! We awoke this morning and Logan was asleep but soon awoke ready for his walk, michelle took them out and both had a pleasant time and are currently lounging around in the sun (shocking for a Lurcher!!!) We are looking forward to our long walk this afternoon as it is gorgeous outside.
We would like to thank everyone who was involved in Logans journey, Viv & John, Barney & Jenny and also Mo for her visit. We will be eternally greatfull to you all and we have already fallen in love with him and we know he's the way he is thanks to you all.
We will keep in touch and post pictures of him often (we've already taken about 10)
Thanks again Matt & Chelle

Some pics of yesterday's 'getting to know you' exercise - sorry they're not better quality, but (a) the weather wasn't that good, & (b) I find it a tad difficult to take a decent photo at the same time as keeping four assorted on-lead hounds under control.
Logan wondering if there's owt in the Burns adopters goody bag that'll entertain him during the journey to his lovely new home in Dorset :

Here's a "movie" spliced together of bits of video on my ordinary - microphone free - camera, taken on the last morning with us. That's our friend Neil winding him up, by the way ;D

Bless... Neil and Logan would do very well in a "best six legs competition". Just my opinion... ;D
