Wow I just love little Kez she is so beautiful and looks very similar to my little Fiver who is Beddie whippet cross. Someone is going to be very lucky - I wish it were me! PS - we are holiday abroad so haven't had many opportunities to catch up with SLR hence the delay in commenting.

Hello All. Sorry for lack of update on Miss Kez er Madam Kez - have been a bit busy treking through undergrowth, through rivers, over hills, up mountains looking for her.... no just kidding!! She is exercising her right to chase rabbits and pursue the odd pheasant but largely due to me allowing her freedom and within minutes she comes back at 101 mph in a panic that she's been left behind.... covered in those darn burry things, that she hates, so we have to STOP, remove them off her legs, takes FOREVER and move on! I've ascertained that she's definitely not chicken friendly, although today in the yard she did watch them from a distance and could quite easily have gone after them but didn't due to being told off yesterday! OK and not phased by horses. Hopefully. With other dogs there is a slight ? - she's quite a spunky little dog and makes sure she gets her position in before anyone else - bit of a growl with resident dogs at the yard today but settled after a while. I just don't think she's used to so much going on but I wouldn't trust her 100% at the moment with other dogs. I'm working on stopping her barking at dogs from the car - slowly improving. Currently a competiton with my dog Basil over beds and biscuits but since one growl at him and her being told off there has been no more. She's driving me nuts following me everywhere - I seriously can't even go to the loo without she's 1cm behind me..... I hope she'll get more secure and realise she's not going to be left anywhere and stop tripping me up! Have lots of photos but my computer is playing up and can't upload just yet. She's a funny little thing..... makes me laugh in the car because when you look in the rear view mirror you just see this spiky grey hair standing up..... looks just like the drummers off the muppetts!

Lovely update on Kez. Hopefully she will feel more confident and secure soon and these little behaviours will cease. I know how it feels having a dog just behind you all the time, I have lost count on how many times I have stood on poor Ginny! Hope Kez finds her forever sofa soon

We are going to give her foster mum another two weeks to see if Kez fits in with the family and extended family. Sara took on Kez and her daughter Tess and has worked miracles with them both. Now that Tess has been rehomed we feel that Kez needs a little more time to bond and adjust.

Oh god sorry I know but my computer is not uploading photos - will be going to get fixed next week and will upload thereon. She's a little monkey but you have to laugh when she comes back after 2 mile point pointless pheasant chasing all cheerful and pleased with herself... without pheasant of course! Went through sheep today with no problems and have to say that she's definitely more relaxed now and perhaps finding her place in the household!

Hello..... Kez here, answering the door like I do now! Also learn't to type!! Just thought I'd let everyone know that I've unpacked my dog case and have decided to stay at Fyfield with Basil and Sara!!!!!!!!! Yeah!!! I've got my own bed now and I'm really feeling very happy and settled and I just couldn't think of moving anywhere without Basil and Sara... I love them both!! Wish Basil was a bit more playful but hey I've had some dogs from France over and although I was a bit scared of them at first I had a good play in the field yesterday and a good bark at the big bear like one... he's quite fun!! Went after Marc's Jack Russell Terrier today but boy did she give me a telling off - bit my nose .... not sure I'll do that again.... same with those geese.... they knocked me right over and I've steered clear recently.... by passed those darn chickens yesterday too when I escaped from the car.... was just trying to see where my mum was and got a telling off !! Anyway folks... I'll post some photos up soon and hopefully see you out on a walk some place... got to get back to my sofa though... snooze time - best thing at this place is you get good grub and lots of cuddles, especially on a morning.... l love them xxx
