Blimey - now that's fast work Must be the record for fastest rehome so far surely Well done on your first true foster Romi - might only have been for a day but if he's gone to his new forever home then you were the only fosterer in my eyes

Marley has come to Bex to be fostered. We met up this afternoon and he was very good with Sam, Bonnie and Lottie. He really is gorgeous. Many thanks to you Romi for getting him to Hayling.

Only wish I could do more. ;D I really hope Marley and Bex hit it off together and it turns into another foster/failure. Marley really needs lots of one to one time and stability to get over his anxiety issues. He is young still so hopefully it won't take too long. He is a very affectionate lad who deserves the same in return. I'm so glad he got on well with Sam, Bonnie and Lottie today. I hope you have lots of lovely walks together.

Gosh Romi - you're an amazing gal. And bless Nero for his support!
And Marley's mum, iane, has acted selflessly in putting her boy first - what a strong lady. She neednt worry about his welfare where SLR are involved.

We rather sprung it on Bex, as she had only just been homechecked by Joy. But she is a very level headed lady who realises that he will need some tlc and careful reintegration into being left, and is willing to foster. Thank you very much Bex.

Great News, lets hope it is another foster fail!!! Well done Romi!! Well done Bex! ;D But most of well done Iane for recognising Marley's needs, it must have been the hardest decision in the world and you must be missing him terribly but be rest assured SLR would never re-home Marley to anyone unless they knew 100% that it was the right home for him.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy Ro!!! ;D Brilliant job! And huge hugs to Bex for leaping in at the deep end to foster Marley. Iane it must be SO hard for you without Marley I totally agree with what others have said - SLR will ensure Marley is found a really loving new home. He honestly and absolutely couldn't be in better hands

Thank you all. I said to a friend tonight that it all feels like a breavement. It's the only way i can describe it. I so hope Marls will settle somewhere permanently and be happy. So wish I could have changed my working pattern but as a single mum - that's impossible. whoever has him: enjoy and look after him for me please!

Am desperate to know how Marley is getting on at Bex's house. Really hope he settles well and enjoys the seaside.

Hi Iane, Marley now his own thread in SLR Hounds Needing Homes. Bex emailed me this morning to say that he was an absolute poppet last night. Slept on the sofa and didn't touch anything. He wagged when she went to him this morning. He has been on the beach and was going over with her to visit her mum today. Obviously we don't want to use the crate on him at the moment, as he has an association of the crate with being left, so Bex is playing it by ear. He's really happy. p.s. Bex promising to get to grips with posting photos for us later today.

Thank you. Am glad he is not in a crate. He was only ever in it when I was at work - so will associate it with being left again. Thank you so much again. Can;t wait for the photos! x

I'm having a Senior moment Iane. Yep, this is his thread. Sorry we are all babbling on, but banter helps to get a picture of the dogs.
