Just back from a rescue run for Meggie and the Vets for Ruby. Anil hasn't aspirated today, but we are just monitoring. She is on strong A.B's and anti-inflammatories, so fingers crossed. One of the big scabs on top of her head got knocked off this morning, and it is raw Tag is concerned. He inspects her often. Ruby received a lovely surprise in the post today. A new flowery collar. But who from Thank you for Ruby's collar. But we would love to know who sent it.

I had to rush in from the garden to answer my mobile, and Tag was looking at me longingly for a play outside with the frisbee so I took him. Just got back to find Ruby standing in a pool of diluted blood, and it lead from Mim's bed to the hallway Panic over - Her drain hole for her op site had opened up allowing the hematoma to release A bit scary but it has taken the inflammation down a lot. On the good side we have got the back garden mowed and some bushes trimmed. -

Not such a rough night. A bit of crying around 2 a.m. and then 4 a.m. But she does like to lie on the wrong side. Today we have had a little play bowing in the garden. ;D

Perhaps she could borrow Dizzy's wings and have a fly. She is learning how to balance the legs and gave me a little run on the field.

Hope all goes well today and Ruby continues to heal well. She must feel so miserable - the pictures of her make her look a poorly little girl and I bet she will be so pleased to get the staples out. Good luck.
