Leon came into us through the Dog Warden, having served his time they felt he would be better with a fostering Rescue. He is only young, not as old as first through, probably under or around 2 years old. He is being fostered in Kent with Claire and her pack and doing well already. Here he is - Looking really traumatised in this one!

He has a huge personality and talks all the time. So different from the quivering boy when we picked him up at lunchtime. Settled with ours and happy. Updates coming

He looks and sounds like a rough coated Finnegan, well done for Fostering this boy

Leon update Had to take Leon to vets today as he has a bad limp on hind leg. The dog warden on friday failed to mention this when I collected him, but let it slip that he had a limp when he came into the pound 14 days ago!! As I suspected its his cruciate ligament so he is having x ray ( and castration ) on Wednesday. Also on Wednesday I take Girshwin (my lurcher) for x ray after his cruciate op. Out of all my flock the 30 year old pony is in best health. Rant over!!!!

Don't worry Claire, SLR always expected the unexpected. Fingers crossed it is a straightforward op and only around £1,000. xx

Did the warden think you wouldn't take him with a limp? Poor boy must be in pain! He's in good hands now though
